Started The Corner Set

Today I started the Corner kitchen set. It's one of those kit sets. All real wood.

It was super easy to take apart. The previous owner didn't glue in any of the pegs. Which made it so easy to work with.

After it was all taken apart, I use mineral spirits or lacquer thinner + acetone mix to scrub the finish off. If the Finish is really thick I use stripper.

I sanded the boards lightly just to show you all the dents and scratches. You didn't really notice them when it was covered with the Finish.

 

I fully sanded it all with 120 grit sandpaper on the orbital Festool  sander. This is the top of the bench now all sanded.

The whole bunch has been sanded now it needs to be hand sanding with 120.
